- With this set, you do not need to use very high heat. For best use and care, we suggest heating the pan for a few seconds and then adding oil or butter to avoid sticking the food to the pan.
- When hand washing your set, dry your set and do not let the copper bottom air dry as this will cause your copper to get spots. Copper does tarnish over time, but with proper care using a commercial cleaning agent, it will last for a long time. We highly recommend you towel dry your cookware immediately after washing. Copper also scratches, so play close attention on how you store and stack your pots and pans after use.
- For water spots that appear, please note this is actually caused by the minerals in the water, not the water itself. As we recommended, hand dry your pans immediately after washing and the water spots are not likely to be a problem.
- For tough food stains, burn marks or heat damage
- We recommend using and applying baking soda to the surface (only if the pan is completely dry). You can rub the baking soda on the mark with a dry cloth or sponge. You can also add a little water to create a paste-like consistency.
